In order to counteract climate change, we are making a significant contribution to environmental protection and promoting the switch to renewable energies. We are proud to save almost 40 tons of CO  <\/span><sub><span style=\"font-family: Roboto; font-weight: 300;\" data-fusion-font=\"true\" data-fusion-google-font=\"Roboto\" data-fusion-google-variant=\"300\">2<\/span><\/sub><span style=\"font-family: Roboto; font-weight: 300;\" data-fusion-font=\"true\" data-fusion-google-font=\"Roboto\" data-fusion-google-variant=\"300\"> to be saved.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 300; font-family: Roboto;\" data-fusion-font=\"true\" data-fusion-google-font=\"Roboto\" data-fusion-google-variant=\"300\">Since the purchase of the first fully electric car in 2017, Lautenschl\u00e4ger has been focusing on electromobility. For the past 5 years, only fully electric cars have been purchased, so that the car fleet is now almost completely electric. The electricity for the vehicles is produced in a photovoltaic system on the roof of our company building and therefore comes from 100% renewable sources.  <\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 300; font-family: Roboto;\" data-fusion-font=\"true\" data-fusion-google-font=\"Roboto\" data-fusion-google-variant=\"300\">The next steps are already planned: With the growing electric fleet, the demand for electricity at our site in Cologne is also increasing &#8211; additional solar technology on roof areas that are still available should cover this demand. We are also following developments in electrified commercial vehicles and vans with great interest.
